Summer Fun

This is going to be very long because I haven't posted for awhile. My summer was off to a slow start because I went to the dermatologist and had 32 sunspots burned off my face, arm and chest. So I hibernated for two weeks until I no longer looked like a freak. Hayden and Cole came to stay with us for a week and I now remember how come I used to fall into bed in an exhausted state when I had little kids. All you people with little kids, my hat is off to you. I had a blast with the boys and hope that Brad and Nikki will let me tend again for them sometime. We next entertained Nate and Crystal who brought along Tayla and Noah. It is great to get to know the Houston grandkids. There is nothing like being able to put your arms around those sweet kids instead of talking to them on the phone. We got together a few times with everyone and had a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures of the 4th of July. Sorry Lisa, I know this makes you homesick.

July 9 I flew off to Philadelphia to spend some time with Lisa and Dallas and of course the puppies. It was great to have Lisa meet me at the airport and let me stay with them in their apartment. Lisa sat me down and planned out an itenary so that we had something to look forward to every day. We visited a lot of historical sites and had a lot of fun. We went to Gettysburg, Valley Forge, shopping, Longwood gardens, shopping, downtown Philly, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It seemed like we were always on the go, but in between we sold a few puppies. One of my favorite memories was racing puppies up and down the hall. All too soon it was time to go home. The nice thing was Dave really missed me.
